Situated in northern Glasgow, Glengoyne is a personable distillery and visitors can bottle their Glengoyne from a cask or visit their blending lab and craft their very own Glengoyne. Set in the Lanarkshire countryside this distillery is known for its purism and elegance.
Strathilsa is a stalwart among Scottish distilleries and many claim it is the oldest running distillery in the country. It’s famous malt whisky is the secret sauce to Chiva’s blends. The tranquil settings help to emphasis this distilleries enchanting and historical aura.
Remotely based in the Highlands this iconic Scottish distillery produces the Aberfeldy single malt and Dewar’s blend. Very much like Glengoyne, the distillery ops for a interactive approach with visitors and has two “bottle your own whisky” workshops.
Based on the picturesque shores of Islay this distillery has went through turbulent times and came back stronger. Between 1981 and 1996 the distillery was shut down several times before the great revival in 1997, spearheaded by Glenmorangie. The distillery has a visitor centre which is great for tasting sessions.
