The Morning 

You will be collected at 8:30am/9:00am

Your driver will pick you up in your choice of luxury vehicle at your chosen pick up location ready for your bespoke tour. The chauffeur will provide commentary throughout your tour of the highlands. Rest assured he has a vast knowledge of the region.

Stop 1

Culloden Battlefield

Your chauffeur will drive you to Culloden Battlefield. The Battle of Culloden took place on Culloden Moor, on 16th April 1746. It was the final battle of the 1745 Jacobite rising and the last battle to be held on British soil.

Visiting Culloden the last hand-to-hand battle fought on British soil takes on a whole new meaning with the opening of an exciting new visitor centre and interactive exhibition. The battlefield itself is now restored to as close as possible that marched on by the two sides on that fateful day. This will allow you find out why this battle that lasted only one hour changed the way of life of the Highlands and Islands for ever. You will have time to explore the site and the Visitor centre which features artefacts and interactive displays.

Stop 2

Lunch Reservation at Boath House

The Chauffeur will then drive you so you can lunch the Michelin Star Boath House in Nairn at 12:00pm. Boath House is a luxury country house widely renowned for its style, quality and fine cuisine situated on Scotland’s north east Moray coast. You can sit and enjoy the extraordinary 3 course meal provided as well as the inviting views provided on the premises.

Stop 3

Cawdor Castle and Gardens

You will depart from Boath House and continue your tour to Cawdor Castle and Gardens which you are due to arrive at 1:30pm or ideally before to avoid any queuing. Still home to the Cawdor family you can explore the 14th Century castle and gardens on your stop and enjoy the beautiful furniture, fine portraits and intriguing objects.

Stop 4

Glen Ord Distillery

Your next stop on the tour will be the Glen Ord Distillery. Nestled on the outskirts if Muir of Ord, the distillery is one of the Highlands hidden treasures producing liquid gold all year round.

Enjoy a fully-guided tour of Glen Ord distillery where you will learn all about the processes involved in the making of the Singleton of Glen Ord single malt Scotch whisky, finishing off with a taste of the 12 year old Singleton of Glen Ord.

Stop 5

Urqhart Castle

You will then be driven to Urquhart Castle Discover more than 1,000 years of stirring history centred on the Great Glen. The magnificently situated Urquhart Castle, on the shore of Loch Ness, has seen some of the most dramatic chapters in our nation’s story. Experience a glimpse of medieval life and the ruins of the greatest castle in the Highlands.

Final Destination

The Chauffeur will drive you back to your chosen location where you will say your goodbyes and end your luxury day tour.
